New owl species discovered in Philippines
AFP – Sun, Aug 19, 2012A photo taken in February and released by the Biodiversity Conservation Programme (BCP) shows one of the ten new species of owl -- Ninox-Reyi -- found in Tawi-Tawi, on the southern island of Mindanao.

Two new species of owls have been discovered in the Philippines. At the top left is the Cebu Hawk-owl and at the bottom right is the Camiguin Hawk-owl.
